Dynamic Transmission is one of the premier builders of Dodge 47RE and 48RE valve bodies. Featuring proprietary pressure and lubrication control, as well as shift calibrations, our valve bodies address the issues that cause poor performance.
The all-new "Quantum" high-pressure valve body features our proprietary pressure control, and is designed and calibrated for any application where you're asking the most out of your transmission, but require the reliability to keep it coming back for more! Featuring our new "Quantum" pressure control, this valve body is calibrated with a very aggressive pressure curve through the first 1/2 of your throttle travel - right where you drive the most. This aggressive pressure rise in the lower portions of your throttle travel allows for smooth light throttle shifts, with progressively firmer shifts as you apply more throttle, all while delivering the pressure your clutches need to reliably carry the load they're being asked to carry.
This is a custom, completely recalibrated valve body, not simply an OEM valve body with a "shift kit" installed in it. Comes complete with a new OD/TCC solenoid set (with internal harness and pass-through connector), Borg Warner HD governor pressure solenoid and pressure transducer.
Perfect for modified engines, and has even shown to increase fuel economy and lower transmission temperatures in many applications.
-Substantially increased line pressure curve (up to 230 psi..!) tailored to greatly enhance clutch, band and torque converter clutch holding power.
-Proprietary hydraulic circuitry retains boost valve function (which enhances driveability at lower throttle settings), and activates it in second gear for greatly improved second and third gear holding power, plus improved 2-3 shift, OD shift and TCC lockup calibrations.
-Custom designed valving allows full converter charge and cooler flow in the PARK position.
-Pressure regulator hydraulic circuits modified to allow full line pressure to feed the lube and cooling circuit at all times and in any gear selector position. This prevents lube and cooling flow from being cutoff at idle or low rpm, low throttle settings.
-Our proprietary, custom designed, laser-cut separator plates allow complete and proper control of pressure, shift and lockup calibrations, as well as functionality and feature enhancements...no compromises as with modified OEM plates. Our plates are cut from .050" thick material and flat sanded for a smooth finish. This substantially reduces cross leaks between circuits at high operating pressures.
-Valve body surfaces flat sanded on certified flat stone. (Granite slab, certified flat to within .0001") This also substantially reduces cross leaks between valve bodies, separator plates and channel plate.
-Redesigned OD accumulator hydraulic circuits prevent excessively harsh OD shifts at extreme line pressures.
-Allows full time converter charge, even at extremely high line pressures.
-Shift calibrations offer firm, solid shifts.
-Converter lockup calibrations tailored to your particular type of torque converter...single disc or multi-disc.
-Allows converter lockup in any forward gear (external lockup switch required).
-Allows locked 3-4 upshifts, as well as locked 4-3 downshifts (external lockup switch required).
-Allows 3-2 locked downshifts (external lockup switch required, billet shafts and upgraded gear train recommended)
